Hyper Wave Challenge features 30 progressively difficult levels spread across 3 different worlds. As you advance, levels become increasingly narrow, technical, and unforgiving, where even the slightest mistake results in instant death. Success requires ultra-precise reflexes and excellent timing.
In addition to carefully crafted level design, the game includes several portals that alter the gameplay:
- Gravity Portal: Reverses gravity. When you press the control, the Wave moves downward instead of upward.
- Mirror Portal: Flips the level horizontally, causing the Wave to travel to the left.
- Size Portal: Shrinks the Wave, making it much faster and more agile.
- Dual Portal: Creates a second Wave that moves symmetrically to the first one.

The Training Mode in Hyper Wave Challenge helps reduce frustration as levels become more challenging. It allows you to place checkpoints manually throughout a level and respawn from them after dying.
