Simple to understand but hard to master, puzzle games are accessible to beginners but also offer complex enough challenges to satisfy the most dedicated players and more experienced.
What are brain games?
Brain games often consist of performing actions, starting from a basic situation, governed by defined rules or game mechanics and with the aim of achieving a specific objective. For example, in the game 2048 the goal is to combine the numbers to arrive at the absolute number of 2048. Simple in theory but difficult in practice, brain games will offer endless possibilities and an often-rewarding learning curve. Other games like Doodle God : Rocket Scientist will ask you to manipulate the primordial elements in order to create matter until you get life on a planet. Free puzzle games are great for having fun while thinking and working on your sense of logic.
The origin of brain games:
Puzzle games were originally mechanical toys that were played alone or with others. The oldest known puzzle was invented in ancient Greece by Archimedes himself and was called Stomachion (or Loculus of Archimedes). It was a game made up of only 14 different pieces but which could be arranged in 17,152² ways to form a square. The famous game Chinese Rings would have appeared in China a thousand years ago but also Mahjong Games in the 1800s. More recently the Rubik's cube has undoubtedly become the most famous of the brain games, it's played by thousands of players around the world. Snokido offers dozens of free brain games like Just Get 10 in which you will have to be logical to perform actions to get the number 10.
