Portal Defenders: Tower Defense is a real-time strategy game set in the Newgrounds universe. Build defensive structures to fend off invading evil villains who want to destroy the Portal Core, which legend said that it's Tom Fulp's own heart! Three types of structures can be built, a barracks with ground troops that will slow down enemies, a cannon tower that will bombard enemies doing area damage and a laser turret that will fire a powerful beam at single targets. Build your defenses to prevent enemies from going through the portals over ten levels of increasing difficulty. The stars earned during your missions will be used to permanently improve certain abilities.

Tips:
- Click on a tower to open the options menu, and in particular the upgrades menu.
- You can reposition your troops with the target icon.
- Press the whistle to launch the next wave of enemies, you will earn extra gold coins.
- Once fully charged you can use your special power "Mr. Snips" and inflict heavy damage in the area of your choice.
