Jackpot Crash Course: Chapter 1 is a dark casino-themed visual novel developed by Studio Investigrave. The story follows Eddie, a criminal forced to take part in a deadly televised game show called "Bet and Forgive," where prisoners face off in high-stakes casino games to try to win their pardon and avoid the death penalty. Each player choice can lead to survival... or death.
The game combines gripping narrative, mini-games, and adventure elements, with a strong emphasis on decision-making: every choice has a real impact on the story and can unlock alternate endings, exclusive scenes, and unique narrative routes. Each route takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete, with 3 hours or more needed to explore all the content in the first chapter. The game also features over 300 CGs (background art and character expressions), expressive sprites, and vibrant pixel-art direction, making the world immersive and dynamic.
