Confronting Yourself (FF Mix), the mod for Friday Night Funkin, is unofficially playable for the greatest pleasure of rap battle fans! In this adventure Boyfriend joins Sonic to fight the evil Sonic.exe, the corrupted version of our blue hedgehog. You cannot die in the song but there are two possible endings depending on your performance and the number of missed notes. If you play badly (more than 20 missed notes) you will get the bad ending, if you play well then you will get to see the good ending. Will you be able to keep up the pace during this intense chase so you can save Boyfriend and also Sonic?

its probably because sonic slowed down so boyfriend can keep up, this would make sense considering if sonic wanted to be gone he would've been gone as he is at fastest faster than sound itself.
