FNF D-Sides REDUX

Developer: DastardlyDeacon  -   251 plays

FNF D-Sides (REDUX) is a Friday Night Funkin’ mod that reimagines Boyfriend and Girlfriend’s adventures with remixed music, redesigned characters, and a fresh take on the story. This overhaul of D-Sides brings its battles to life with expressive animations, dialogue, and plenty of visual surprises. Boyfriend still has to prove himself to Girlfriend’s family, but these encounters quickly go far beyond meeting the parents. Between a Halloween party gone wrong, Pico’s provocations, and the guests waiting in Freeplay, your microphone will barely have time to cool down. The Four Story Mode Weeks in FNF D-Sides (REDUX)

After a tutorial with Girlfriend, the adventure takes you through three main weeks and a bonus episode. Each chapter brings its own atmosphere, opponents, and way of turning a simple outing into a musical showdown.

Week 1: Taking the Stage Against Daddy Dearest.
Across Bopeebo, Fresh, and Dad Battle, Boyfriend faces Girlfriend’s father, a rockstar who certainly doesn’t approve of his daughter’s boyfriend. On stage, you’ll need to answer his taunts with precise combos and hold your own against an opponent who knows his craft. Lighting effects and character reactions build on the concert’s growing intensity. Winning over your girlfriend’s dad was already tricky; doing it in front of an audience adds a little extra pressure.
Week 2: A Halloween Party with Some Nasty Surprises.
Spookeez, South, Ghastly, and Monster take you to the castle where the Dearest family holds its celebrations. Skid and Pump have arrived early to dance and enjoy the candy, but things become far less welcoming when Chester appears. This version of Monster was born when a cherry candy came into contact with chemicals. Joined by Lemon Bambino, he turns the encounter into a sinister performance where Boyfriend and Girlfriend might just end up on the menu.
Week 3: Pico Doesn’t Settle Scores Quietly.
Head to Philadelphia to meet Pico in Pico, Philly Nice, and Blammed. Boyfriend’s reunion with someone from his past turns into a showdown with Pico’s crew watching on. This week adds an extra challenge to the musical exchanges: special notes let you dodge Pico’s shots. Missing them costs a significant chunk of health, so you’ll need to watch for unusual patterns while keeping the beat.
Bonus Chapter Sh*tstop: Spaghetti and Restaurant Chaos!
Boyfriend and Girlfriend simply want to spend some time at an Italian restaurant, but a delivery truck abruptly interrupts their meal. The song Spaghetti then pits them against Leslie Serafimini in a deliberately absurd scene. This humorous episode puts an Italian spin on FNF’s collaboration with LE SSERAFIM, complete with an original song. Even in the middle of a wrecked restaurant, Boyfriend still finds a way to order a musical showdown.

Freeplay Songs: Iconic Guests and Unexpected Challenges

Freeplay expands the world of D-Sides with encounters inspired by community favorites from across FNF. The characters have their own backstories and reimagined designs, while some songs directly change the way you play.

Darnell, Improbable Outset, and Accelerant put the action front and center. In Darnell, Pico wakes up on a moving truck facing Darnell and Nene: their friendly games clearly leave little room for safety. Improbable Outset introduces a version of Tricky reimagined as a jester, while Accelerant brings back Hank and the signature chaos of Madness Combat. Character appearances and animations make these battles feel like musical action scenes.
Boom Bash, Foolhardy, and Dusk revisit three more iconic encounters. Boom Bash features Whitty, a former rockstar whose peace and quiet are interrupted by the couple. In Foolhardy, Skid and Pump take the microphone against Zardy, showing their usual enthusiasm for things that should probably send them running. Dusk introduces a self-obsessed version of Sky who eventually loses patience with Boyfriend’s teasing. Three very different ways to discover that not everyone appreciates an impromptu concert.
DGuy, Lore, and Performance explore references to Five Nights at Freddy’s and the Vs. OURPLE GUY mod. You’ll meet Ved Guy, the D-Sides version of William Afton, alongside Mack and Chica. These tracks mix humor, theories, and musical encounters inspired by that universe. And takes the absurdity even further with Spoinky Boingy, a simple-looking creature whose backstory is far more outlandish than his smile suggests.
Try Harder, Endless, Milk, and Execution offer a series of encounters inspired by Sonic’s universe and its many offshoots. Try Harder pits Boyfriend against Mighty.ZIP, also known as Zephaniah, and introduces ice notes you need to avoid: hitting them freezes you in place, forcing you to alternate quickly between left and right to break free. In Endless, Tenma throws you off with moving note columns and changes in scrolling direction. Milk provides some comic relief with Sunky, Mitee, and Ivo Robotnik, while Execution returns to a more menacing atmosphere against the D-Sides version of Lord X.
Soretro and Bobo’s Chicken are two secret songs that continue the mod’s love of surprises and jokes. The first features Dario in an offbeat tribute to retro memes, while the second turns a Yuno Miles song into a rhythm challenge. The Legacy archives also let you revisit much of the content from earlier versions of D-Sides.
